Meet Your Local Milton Driving Instructor
MTO Approved Driving Instructor for over 35 years
Hi, my name is Peter. I've been a licensed MTO-approved driving instructor for over 35 years, and I enjoy teaching. I’ve taught thousands of students, while working for several reputable driving schools and two prominent driver rehabs schools in the GTA, with Driver Safety always as my Top Priority.
Credentials & Driver Assessment Experience
I’m a current member of ADED, which is “The Association for Driver Rehabilitation Specialists." My other credentials include working, for many years, with an MTO-approved Functional Driver Assessment / Driver Rehab School.
There, I worked alongside an Occupational Therapist, as a Driver Evaluator, where together we assessed the driving skills of licensed drivers, with a medical condition, to see if they were still safe to operate a motor vehicle.
Upon completion of the functional driver’s assessment, our assessment results and recommendations were shared with the MTO.
Other Credentials
Having been born in Quebec, aside from English, I speak a little French, although regrettably not nearly as well as I once did.
I also have many years of teaching drivers with special needs, whether it’s a physical injury, requiring special adaptive equipment, or a brain injury.
I’m a skilled instructor who takes pride in his work and cares very much for the safety of all my students.
My Teaching Philosophy
My style of teaching is to work together with the student to reach a common goal of having you become a safer driver. I always teach in a relaxed environment yet challenging enough to get the most from every student. Throughout my years of teaching, I’ve constantly tried to improve my teaching style to obtain the best possible results I could get from every student.
As a result, I’ve always had a high first time pass rate whether it’s for a G2 or G road test although my primary goal is always Driver Safety, which is a higher bar to reach, which includes proper execution for everyday driving and defensive driving techniques.
A Personal Invitation
What always motivates me to work hard is seeing the driving improvements, no matter the skill level.
Give us a try. See you in the driver’s seat.
